PLASTIC TECHNOLOGY

POLYTECHNIC IN PLASTIC TECHNOLOGY
WHAT IS PLASTIC TECHNOLOGY?
PLASTIC TECHNOLOGY is a branch of engineering. This technology is basically for processing, designing,
developing and manufacturing the plastic products. Plastic is a synthetic material, polymer as a main
ingredient so, plastic is difficult to quantify. So, plastic engineer has to address: outdoor weatherability,
thermal properties such as temperature, electrical properties and resistance to chemical attack. The job
is to produce desired plastic material by altering various properties of plastic also in economical way.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR POLYTECHNIC IN PLASTIC TECHNOLOGY
• A candidate must have pass class 10th or 12th in science stream with PCM from a recognized
board
• Minimum aggregate required is 40%-50%.
• There is no upper age limit.
HOW TO TAKE ADMISSION
• The admission process is carried over by considering the merit score of the student in their
exams.
• Some institutes conduct entrance exams and there would be personal interview carried by the
institute that various or depends upon the institutes.
• Direct admission can also be taken by visiting the institute with proper documents.
FEES
• The fees structure vary from college to college but the approximate annual fees range between
Rs.25,000-Rs.1,00,000.
