Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped, UP, established in 1997, is an autonomous institution established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the legislation “ The persons with disabilities ( Equal opportunities, protection of right and fully participation ) Act 1995” and recognized under 2 (f) of the UGC act 1956. The aim of the Institute is to provide meaningful education, of the highest standard and to provide leadership in technological innovation. The institute offers four diploma and five undergraduate B. Tech courses. Diploma courses with intake of 40 each are exclusively for disabled whereas 60 % seats are reserved in B.Tech courses each of 60 intake. The entire campus is barrier free especially designed for Divyangs. The institute has already marked its presence as a leading technical institute. Its strengths and standing are best evidenced by the high UPSEE ranked students admitted in various programs and well qualified faculty. Hope!
